Lunise Cerin

Lunise Cerin is a writer, Director, Editor, and Story Producer from Port-au-Prince and Philadelphia. Cerin began her film career in Los Angeles in 2012, where she worked as a writer, director, and producer for seven years with the SVOD Black and Sexy TV. Cerin pivoted to documentary in 2018, she has worked as editor and story producer for 3 feature documentaries, the most recent being “The Fight For Haiti” directed by Etant Dupain, set to premiere this summer. In 2019 Cerin was admitted into Columbia University’s film MFA program with the Bridges Larson Fellowship. She graduated in February of 2024 with an MFA in screenwriting. She was awarded the Lewis Cole Award for Excellence in Screenwriting and her portfolio film VICTORINE was recognized as, one of the top five films to come out of the Columbia film program of 2024. Cerin is currently in production for her directorial debut for her documentary film "Miwa" for which she received Leeway, NEA, and IPMF grants.
